Inspection

Check for resistance or output voltage between terminals in each switch position.

[Audio (A)]

Seek up	2-4	430 Ω
Seek down	2-4	1.1 kΩ
Mode	2-4	2.11 kΩ
Mute	2-4	3.11 kΩ
Volume up	2-4	4.61 kΩ
Volume down	2-4	6.81 kΩ

[Cruise (B)]

CANCEL	2-4	180 Ω
SET	2-4	330 Ω
RESUME	2-4	550 Ω
CRUISE	2-4	880 Ω
S/LIMIT	2-4	1.44 kΩ

[Bluetooth + Voice (C)]

VOICE	2-4	3.9 kΩ
CALL OFF	2-4	12.1 kΩ
CALL	2-4	34.1 kΩ

[Trip + Flex (D)]

TRIP	2-4	330 Ω
RESET	2-4	550 Ω

Removal

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the driver airbag module. (Refer to Restraint - "Driver Airbag (DAB) Module and Clock Spring")

3.	Remove the steering wheel. (Refer to Steering System - "Steering Column and Shaft")

4.	Remove the steering wheel cover (A) after loosening the screws.

5.	Disconnect the heated steering connector (A).

6.	Remove the upper remote control switch (B) after loosening the screws and connector (A).

7.	Loosen the mounting screws.

8.	Remove the lower remote control switch (B) after loosening the screw and connector (A).

Installation

1.	Install the remote control switch on the steering wheel.

2.	Install the steering wheel.

Reconnect the remote control switch connector and airbag connectors.

Make sure that the switch connector is plugged in properly.

4.	Install the driver airbag module.

5.	Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
