| Removal |
| 1. |
Disconnect the gear boots and then remove the knob and boots by Rotating
counter-clockwise shift lever knob (A).

| 2. |
Remove the floor Interior console assembly.
(Refer to Body - "Floor Console")
|
| 3. |
Remove the brakcet (A).
|
| 4. |
Remove the select cable (B) after removing the clip (A).
|
| 5. |
Remove the shift cable (A) after removing the clip.
|
| 6. |
Remove the cable socket clip (A) from lever assembly after pulling in
the direction of the arrow.
|
| 7. |
Remove the shift lever assembly (A) by removing the bolts (4ea).
|
| Installation |
| 1. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
|
| Inspection |
| 1. |
Check operating of lever of T/M side when operating shift lever after
assembly.
|
| 2. |
When shift lever to "R" position, check the position of "skirt".
|
| 3. |
When lever is shifted to each position, if stop occur between two position,
re-adjust select cable.
(Refer to Control cable - "Adjustment")
