Removal
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the mirror wiring cover (A).

3.
Push the ECM mirror base up to remove the auto defog sensor & rain sensor cover (A).

4.
Remove the LDWS unit (B) after disconnecting the connector (A).

Installation
1.
Install the LDWS unit.
2.
Install the LDWS unit cover.
  
After replacing the LDWS unit, It is necessary to operate the Variant Coding procedure and Calibration procedure.
a.
Using the GDS tool, select the Variant Coding menu of LDWS and select the RHD or LHD.
b.
Using the GDS tool, operate the Calibration menu of LDWS.
c.
Ignition OFF and ON.
d.
Check the normal operation of LDWS.
3.
Check LDWS system operation.
