Kia Carens: Cowl Top Cover / Repair procedures

Replacement

Remove the cap (A) and remove the nuts, then remove the wiper arm (B).

Tightening torque :

22.6 ~ 26.5 N.m(2.3 ~ 2.7 kgf.m, 16.6 ~ 19.5 lb-ft)

2.	Remove the glue on end of both sides (A) of the hood weatherstrip.

3.	Disconnect the cowl top cover nozzle hose (A).

4.	Remove the cowl top side cover (A).

5.	Detach the clips, then remove the cowl top cover (B).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	Replace any damaged clips.
